"As ROVO's first analog record in 19 years since ""FLAGE"" in 2002, this work was pre-sold at the venue only at the Liquid Room performance on November 6, 2021. This time, using a special manufacturing process, we succeeded in producing an analog record that is especially faithful to the sound quality intended by the artist! Please enjoy the analog version of ROVO's latest work, which boasts a high level of perfection as a carefully selected product, with all five senses! *About special manufacturing process In the normal analog record manufacturing process, when creating a master for pressing, a disc called a lacquer disc is cut (the work of carving the sound into grooves), but this time, we used a new technology that we developed independently to complete the process. Just like the product, the master was created by cutting it onto a vinyl chloride disc. Lacquer disc masters have the characteristic that the sound quality changes during the pressing process, but vinyl chloride disc masters are made of the same material as the finished product, so there is no change in sound quality, making it possible to eliminate errors in sound quality during the pressing process. As a result, it has become possible to create analog records that faithfully reproduce the sound quality intended by the artist. This manufacturing process had previously been impossible due to static electricity and durability issues, but Atsushi Yamane of Altphonic Studio succeeded in using a new technology developed through various experiments, and is currently applying for a patent." -
