Gjenskinn by Nils Okland, released 29 March 2024, includes the following tracks: "Svevn", "Lys", "Kraft", "Tilley Plump" and more. This version of Gjenskinn comes as a 1xCD. -

Rolf-Erik and Nils learned the main theme on "Kairo" from the flute-player Ahmed El Arnab in Cairo. Nils learned the dance tune in "Tilley Plump" from the fiddler Lell Robertson on Shetland. "Minimalvals", "Kairo", "Morgenkvist", "Kraft", "Tilley Plump" and "Silhuett" recorded in ABC-Studio November 23nd [sic] and 24th 2021 by [...]. "Framover", "Svevn", "Lys" and "Gjenskinn" recorded at MusikkLoftet September 7th and December 20th 2022 by [...]. Harmonium overdubs was [sic] recorded in Bergen October 6th 2022 by [...]. Nils Økland plays Hardangerfiddles by Gunnar Røstad 1925, Sigvald Rørien 1994 and Olav Vindal 1999 and an old anonymous violin previously played by Vidar Lande, Eivind and Daniel Aakhus on "Silhuett". Nils Økland wishes to thank Jade Marie Hasselgård, Andreas Risanger Meland, Frøydis Bergheim Ruud, Vidar Lunden, Kjetil Ulland, Henrik Økland, Sevland Skulekorps by Svein Henry Robertson and finally all the musicians for their creativity and dedicated work on the album.
