"Page one" is the debut album by American jazz tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson, recorded and released by blue note records in 1963. The tunes on the album were written by either Henderson or Kenny Dorham, and include two pieces that went on to become jazz standards : "Recorda me" and "Blue Bossa". Besides Dorham, the other sidemen on this date are McCoy Tyner (piano), Butch Warren (bass) and Pete La Roca (drums). A self recommending set.
