Die Neuauflage des zweiten Albums der legendÃ¤ren Death Metal Band auf Vinyl. Das Album ist sehr Thrash-Metal-lastig ausgefallen. Die Lieder wurden alle von Chuck Schuldiner geschrieben, lediglich bei dem Titel "Primitive Ways" half Rick Rozz als â??Songwriterâ?? aus. Das lag vor allem daran, dass Schuldiner ein komplett neues Line-up zusammengestellt hatte. Er warb alle drei Musiker (Rick Rozz, Terry Butler, Bill Andrews) von der Band Massacre ab. Rick Rozz und Kam Lee hatten beide schon in der Death-VorlÃ¤uferband Mantas gespielt. - PINK WHITE BLUE

The sixth installment in Relapse's exhaustive reissue campaign of Death's immensely influential catalog is Leprosy, the band's titanic second album. Originally released in 1988 Leprosy was a pioneering album, building upon the thrash sounds of Metallica and Slayer but adding a previously unheard level of raw extremity. These songs are the roots of an entire genre: Death metal. While this was only the second record Death released, it immediately cemented them as heavy metal icons.
