Auf My Prophet setzt Oded Tzur zusammen mit seinem Quartett, bestehend aus Pianist Nitai Hershkovits, Bassist Petros Klampanis und dem neuen Gruppenmitglied Cyrano Almeida am Schlagzeug, den bemerkenswert eigenwilligen musikalischen Weg fort, der bereits auf Here Be Dragons eingeschlagen und auf Isabela fortgefÃ¼hrt wurde, wobei sein frei-flieÃ?endes Jazz-Idiom, das verschiedene Ausdrucksformen nahtlos miteinander verbindet, hier noch vollkommener wirkt und der Saxophonist noch tiefer in die meditativkonzentrierte Gestaltung des Improvisierens eintaucht.
