Carve the Runes Then Be Content With Silence will be released on the autumn equinox, September 20, 2024, following it's premiere in London in June. This first reveal comes 3 years after the only tape was planted in the soil of the Islands of Orkney, all digital files were deleted. It will be released as it sounds from the earth. The recording is a 3-movement work for solo violin and string ensemble. The piece was written in 2021 to mark the centenary of celebrated Orcadian poet, George Mackay Brown.
