Im Alter von 18 Jahren betrat der aus North Carolina stammende Produzent und Songwriter die Szene mit seinem komplexen, bombastischen Electro-House-Stil. Nach dem groÃ?en Erfolg seines 2014 erschienenen DebÃ¼talbums Worlds verÃ¶ffentlichte Porter 2016 die RIAA-Gold-Single "Shelter" mit Madeon, gefolgt von einer Shelter Live Tour, die 43 Termine auf vier Kontinenten umfasste. Im darauffolgenden Jahr begann Porter, Musik unter seinem neuen Alias Virtual Self zu verÃ¶ffentlichen, was zu seiner ersten Grammy-Nominierung fÃ¼r die BBC Radio 1-Hitsingle "Ghost Voices" fÃ¼hrte. 2019 veranstaltete Porter das erste Second Sky Festival, das an einem einzigen Tag alle 30.000 Tickets fÃ¼r das zweitÃ¤gige Festival ausverkaufte. In den Jahren 2020 und 2021 veranstaltete Porter Robinson sein virtuelles Festival Secret Sky, das insgesamt Ã¼ber 6 Millionen Zuschauer erreichte und als das anspruchsvollste virtuelle Festival seiner Zeit gilt. SpÃ¤ter im Jahr 2021, nach der VerÃ¶ffentlichung des zweiten Albums Nurture, kehrte das Second Sky Festival in die Bay Area zurÃ¼ck und verkaufte 40.000 Tickets an einem einzigen Tag. Unmittelbar danach verkaufte die Nurture Live North American Tour Ã¼ber 150.000 Konzertkarten und war die umsatzstÃ¤rkste elektronische Tournee des Jahres 2021. Im Jahr 2022 verÃ¶ffentlichte Robinson in Zusammenarbeit mit Riot Games "Everything Goes On" und Ã¼bertraf damit die Marke von 100 Millionen globalen Streams. SpÃ¤ter im selben Jahr gab er sein DebÃ¼t bei einem von zwei exklusiven Auftritten mit kompletter Live-Band, zuerst bei Second Sky 2022 und erneut 2023 auf der Coachella Main Stage. - PINK

At age 18, the North Carolina-based producer and songwriter burst onto the scene with a complex, bombastic brand of electro-house. Following the major success of his 2014 debut album Worlds, Porter released the RIAA Gold single "Shelter" with Madeon in 2016, followed by a Shelter Live Tour spanning 43 dates and four continents. The following year, Porter began releasing music under a new alias, Virtual Self, which led to his first Grammy nomination for the BBC Radio 1 hit single "Ghost Voices." In 2019, Porter put on the first Second Sky Festival, which sold out all 30,000 tickets for the two-day festival in a single day. In both 2020 and 2021, PORTER ROBINSON hosted editions of his virtual festival Secret Sky, amassing over 6 million viewers combined, and which came to be regarded as the most sophisticated virtual festivals of it's time. Later in 2021, following the release of sophomore album Nurture, Second Sky Festival made it's return to the Bay Area, selling out 40,000 tickets in a single day. Immediately following, the Nurture Live North American Tour sold over 150,000 concert tickets and was the highest grossing electronic tour of 2021. In 2022, in partnership with Riot Games, Robinson released "Everything Goes On" surpassing 100 million global streams. Later that year was his debut of one of two exclusive full live band performances, first at Second Sky 2022 and again in 2023 at the Coachella Main Stage.
