The eight album by saxophonist Wayne Shorter was recorded in 1965 but - like so many other blue note albums - was only released 15 years later in 1980. The quartet (besides Shorter there is Herbie Hancock, Cecil McBee and Joe Chambers) performs four Wayne Shorter originals and the disc contains also an arrangement of Gil Evans' "Barracudas". The closing track of this album (Indian Song) is a hypnotizing dance and may be the highlight of this cd. Recommended.
