Jazz pianist Horace Silver recorded this album for Blue Note in 1958. The quintet features Art Farmer, Clifford Jordan, Teddy Kotick and Louis Hayes. The great pianist/composer managed to put out another succesful album. All compositions on this album are Silver's but one, namely the standard "Ill wind". All the albums by Horace Silver recorded in the fiftees until the late sixtees are worth collecting. "Further Explorations" is another winner.
