Live At the Opera House is the first-ever, full release of Sylvester's iconic 1979 concert at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House, previously available only as heavily edited excerpts. The album features 13 unedited songs from the performance, plus a recording of the mid-concert ceremony where Sylvester was awarded the key to San Francisco, culminating in over an hour of previously unreleased music and a total runtime of over 2 hours.

Issued in a three-panel cardboard sleeve. Sticker on cellophane: The legendary 1979 San Francisco concert. Available for the first time in its entirety. Featuring over an hour of previously unreleased music, and a recording of the Sylvester Day proclamation ceremony. 2-CD set featuring never-before-seen images and new liner notes by Joshua Gamson. Recorded live at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House on March 11, 1979. Portions originally appeared on Living Proof, Fantasy LP F-79010, 1979. Tracks 1-3, 2-3, 2-7 and 2-8 previously unreleased. Tracks 1-2, 1-5, 1-6, 2-1, 2-2, 2-4, 2-5 and 2-6 extended performances. Made in the EU.
