This album was inspired by the music of the mid 1970s coming out of Jamaica , in particular the use of drum machines by [a41272] and [a386410] (and Sly Stone in the USA) but also the early 70s instrumentals and dubs by [a25870] and [a333839] & [a173478] among others . Searching out , buying and listening to those records had a deep and profound effect on me and became a big influence me as a musician , which continues to this day .
