"Synthesizer" ist ein Album, das Klänge feiert, die spontan und natürlich sind, die Art von Musik, die nur durch Zusammenarbeit und Gemeinschaft entstehen kann. Mit John und Sandra Fedowitz hat sich die Band neu formiert und arbeitet nun vollständig zusammen. Dieser Geist der Neuerfindung ist überall auf der Platte zu spüren. Namensgebend für das Album ist ein Synthesizer, der extra für dieses Album entwickelt wurde, wobei jedes der LP Cover als funktionstüchtige Platine eingesetzt werden kann. Ein passendes Regler-Set und weiteres Zubehör kann exklusiv über Death By Audio zusätzlich bestellt werden. Der Platinen-Synthesizer wurde bei der Aufnahme aller Songs des Albums verwendet. Frontman Oliver Ackermann ist auch Gründer von Death by Audio, einem Unternehmen, das benutzerdefinierte Gitarreneffekte herstellt, die ebenfalls auf diesem Album zu hören sind. -
