Description:Yogee New Waves, the band that continues to carry on true city pop, has finally completed their long-awaited second full album, 'WAVES'!Yogee New Waves, a band that was praised as the return of the city pop sound when they debuted 'CLIMAX NIGHT ep' in the spring of 2014, pioneered the current movement and ushered in a new era. Their long-awaited second album 'WAVES', their first full album in about two and a half years, is finally complete. The CD includes the new song 'Ride on Wave', which was released as a single on a 7-inch analog record in advance, and the single 'Fantasic Show', which is now one of the band's signature songs and was released on a 7-inch analog record in 2015. In addition, the album is full of 11 killer tunes that could almost be released as singles, such as the masterpiece 'Like Sixteen Candles' from the previous album 'SUNSET TOWN ep' and the band arrangement of 'CAMP', which was recorded as an acoustic version on 'PARAISO'. Since their formation, they have repeatedly parted ways with their members, and this dramatic band, which is a perfect example of a group of youth, has finally restarted as a four-member band and completed this masterpiece. From the city pop of the 70s and 80s to the Shibuya-kei of the 90s, they have digested the great music of the past, and have continued to present new pop music with updates that only they can do, and as a rock band representing the current 'city', Yogee New Waves has established an absolute position in the next generation scene. This is a masterpiece! In addition to the regular version packaged with CD only, this work also has a two-disc set with a DVD containing the first official live video as the first edition. A must-have item for fans, containing footage of the new lineup's first one-man live performance at Tokyo Liquid Room on March 25th, as well as precious off-shots. The recording engineer is Ryo Ikeuchi, who has worked on many of Keiichi Sogabe's works, including Sunny Day Service, as with the previous work.
