First released over 30 years ago, this EP, as with Volumes 1 & 2, is where The Future Sound Of London started in 1991, these tracks under their pseudonyms. All four tracks were instrumental in establishing a new genre of electronica within dance music. They were ahead of their time and extremely progressive, and here three decades later they are still making an impression. â??Calciumâ? transcendental and otherworldly, â??Owlâ? described as â??one of the greatest breakbeat hardcore tracks ever createdâ??. This edition of The Pulse EP is the first reissue in this original vinyl form since 1991, those initial pressings now expensive on Discogs. Genuine underground hardcore/rave history on vinyl to obtain one more time. -

The title on the reverse of the sleeve is 'PULSE EP VOL 3' which also credits track A1 as 'The Tingler', track B1 samples dialogue from the TV show 'Twin Peaks', catalogues are printed on the labels as: 12TOT 16 and on the sleeve as: 12 TOT 16. ALL TRACKS RECORDED AND MIXED LONDON 1991 SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL AT FREAKY DEEK RECORDS Calcium (Elemental Mix) later appeared on the Excursions In Ambience compilation credited to The Future Sound Of London. Some copies have the A side label on both sides.
