Frontman Rudi Protrudi got his start in hard rockers Springhead Motorshark and formed the influential DC punk act Tina Peel with organist Deb Oâ??Nair, going on to the Fuzztones with bassist Michael Jay, drummer Ira Elliot and guitarist Elan Portnoy. Debut album Leave Your Mind At Home captures the group at their rawest and most unexpurgated: recorded live on a 1984 tour of the Midwest, the group thrills the crowds with riveting takes of obscure 60s nuggets.
