Description:

NEMESIS were formed in 1982 in Stockholm, Sweden by Leif Edling, they released "The Day of Retribution" 5-song mini-album in 1984 and changed name to CANDLEMASS. This is one of the foundations of Doom Metal. The double CD compilation will include a total of 25 tracks, including "The Day of Retribution" songs and many demo and live recordings during the band's active period (1982-1984) before they change their name to what we know as the greatest Doom Metal band ever existed. Mastered by Bart Gabriel, with a booklet including liner notes and photos. - BOOKLET

Issued in a 2CD jewel case with clear tray and a 16-page booklet. Hype sticker on foil on front. Track durations are not printed on the release. [Booklet] Tracks 1-1 to 1-5 recorded in Nemesis Heavenly Songs of Praise Studios (December 1983). Tracks 1-6 to 1-9 rehearsal. Tracks 1-10, 1-11 recorded in Nattsvarts Rehearsal Room (April 23, 1983). Tracks 1-12, 1-13 rehearsal Room demo (Autumn 1984). Tracks 2-1 to 2-7 recorded live at Vilunda High School (November 1983). Tracks 2-8 to 2-12 recorded in Studio Hägersten (August 26, 1983).
