Description:Album adapted into a major Broadway show opening this fall. That pursuit of the truth is what inspired their latest project, "Mignonette." Mignonette" offers what the band calls 'a musical statement in honesty.' The album title was inspired by an English tale about a 19th century sea captain who was severely punished because he couldn't help but tell the truth. The Avett Brothers hope an element of truth will be felt by everyone who hears the album; they believe it's presence is the common thread of great music.
