Titled ??Elegy - Chapter I?, the band??s early (promo, rehearsal or studio) demos ??Euthanasia? (1989), ??The Immortal Rehearsals? (1990), ??kur-nu-gi-a? (1990), ??The Dead? (1990) and ??Dead But Dreaming? (1991) were hearsed from the cemetary to the mortuary for reanimation by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath). All five demos have been remastered by Swanö, with the 13 tracks of ??Euthanasia?, ??kur-nu-gi-a? and ??The Dead? also receiving necromantic remixes for the bonus disc. Featuring a brand-new, hand-drawn cover by visual artist Mark Rudolph (Carcass, Undeath), ??Elegy - Chapter I? is by the old guard for all guards to relive or unearth afresh.
