Four CD set. Long regarded as one of the jewels in the band's catalog, 1983's Sparkle In The Rain kicked off a run of three consecutive #1 albums in the UK for Simple Minds and delivered the classic hit singles, "Waterfront," "Up On The Catwalk" and "Speed Your Love To Me." The Super Deluxe set released in 2014 is now available in a cut down format. This 4 CD boxset version comprises a host of bonus material, including B-sides and extended mixes, BBC sessions, a previously unreleased Glasgow Barrowlands concert. A booklet containing sleeve notes and interviews, plus track-by-track annotation is also included. It was extensively remastered in 2014 at Abbey Road Studios.

Respecto a la edición anterior se ha prescindido del DVD y la caja es de un tamaño inferior a aquella. Es un box-set con 4 CD's con un libreto de 40 páginas con magníficas fotografías de la época y una entrevista a Jim y Charlie. Los 4 Cd's están completamente remasterizados, dotándolos de un sonido limpio y potente como es la linea de este Sparkle in the rain. El CD 1 contiene el álbum original, el CD 2, las cara B y versiones edit y extended de los temas principales y Los CD's 3 y 4 una joyita, el concierto que dieron en Barrowland (Glasgow) en el año 1984. Imperdible.
