 | Description: | TOMMY HUNT has enjoyed an extraordinary career, dating back to the 50s, during which he was a member of the legendary Flamingos, singing on some of their biggest, best-known records. In 1961 he quit to go solo, registering a huge R&B hit with his very first 45, ??Human??, and cutting the original version of ??I Just Don??t Know What To Do With Myself??. He later moved to Europe where he became a living Northern Soul legend, and he spent much of his subsequent life based in the UK, appearing at pan-European R&R/Doo Wop festivals and Soul weekenders. Tommy has been inducted into the ??Vocal Group Hall Of Fame?, the ??Doo Wop Hall Of Fame? and the ??Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame?. He was still performing occasionally, whenever his health permitted, into his very late eighties. - Tommy Hunt has enjoyed an extraordinary career, dating back to the 50s, during which he was a member of the legendary Flamingos, singing on some of their biggest, best-known records.
