This new live release follows the bandā??s latest critically acclaimed album Stories From Time and Space, cementing their place at the forefront of the space rock genre. Hawkwind delivered an unforgettable set, blending tracks from their celebrated 2023 studio album The Future Never Waits, along with selections from their expansive back catalogue that have thrilled audiences for decades. Highlights from the night include performances of fan favourites like Levitation, Spirit Of The Age, Master Of The Universe and Assault And Battery, alongside a third disc of rehearsal material including Mask Of Morning, Frozen in Time and Underwater City. This release, presented across three CDs and available as a triple vinyl set (released in January 2025), showcases Hawkwindā??s mastery of live performance. The set-list spans their rich discography, alongside their legendary tracks are songs from The Machine Stops (2016), Into the Woods (2017), and their 2019 Top 40 album All Aboard The Skylark. As always, Hawkwindā??s line-up delivers a powerful sonic journey. Joining Dave Brock on stage are longtime band members Richard Chadwick (drums), Magnus Martin (guitar/keyboard), Doug MacKinnon (bass), and Tim ā??Thighpaulsandraā? Lewis (synths/keyboards), whose collective musicianship ignited the Royal Albert Hallā??s iconic stage. The audience were also treated to a surprise guest appearance from Arthur Brown, who provided poetry readings between songs and other cosmic entertainment.
