Es wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Saxophonisten und Produzenten Sam Gendel aufgenommen. Sam hat 7 hochgelobte Alben verÃ¶ffentlicht und mit The National, Bon Iver, Beth Orton, Marc Ribot & The Blind Boys of Alabama zusammengearbeitet. -

"Tavern" Incorporates the traditional tune "Salt River". "I'm On My Journey Home" Incorporates the 1859 Shape Note Song by Sarah Lancaster. "Cusseta" Includes the 1844 Shate Note Song by John Massengale. "Never" Incorporates the fiddle tune "Her Long Dark Hair Flowing Down Her Back" by Junior Crehan. Sam Gendel is credited with playing the Sarune Bolon, a Batak wind instrument, on "Friends And Neighbors".
