Dieses Doppelalbum mit Orgelmusik von Dubra, gespielt von Ilze und Aigars Reinis auf der berÃ¼hmten F. E. Walcker-Orgel des Rigaer Doms, wurde im JubilÃ¤umsjahr des Komponisten aufgenommen und versammelt alles, was er bisher fÃ¼r Orgel komponiert hat. â??Orgeln waren schon immer wichtig fÃ¼r mich, auch wenn ich nicht an meine Kindheit wÃ¤hrend der Besatzungszeit denke. Das Engagement meiner GroÃ?eltern in der Kirche gab mir schon damals die MÃ¶glichkeit, den magischen Klang dieses Instruments zu spÃ¼ren und zu lieben. Und das hat sich langsam entwickelt... In den 1990er Jahren wurde ich auf unerwartete Weise Organist, und da habe ich diese NÃ¤he noch mehr gespÃ¼rt. Dann begannen meine ersten Versuche, fÃ¼r dieses Instrument zu komponieren, und das hÃ¤lt bis heute an, und auf Ã¼berraschende Weise kommen dabei Dinge zum Vorschein, an denen ich gezweifelt hÃ¤tte, wenn ich nicht diese Beziehung zur Orgel gehabt hÃ¤tte, zum Beispiel, wie fantastisch es ist, Fugen zu schreiben...
