Packaged in a 4 panel digipak with clear tray and 20 page booklet. Tracks 12 and 13 were not part of the original release. No track durations are printed on this release. In booklet: The Last English King (2024 Live Version) was recorded [...] at The Stables, Milton Keynes, UK. On inside of digipak: Recorded at Muscliff, Bournemouth and Nomansland, New Forest, UK between September 2000 and December 2001. For this 2025 re-issue: Remixed and remastered [...] at Aubitt Studios, Southampton, UK in 2023 and 2024. The Bard 2025 Reissue: "Bard was originally recorded on a Pro Tools multitrack system. This enabled the files to be directly recovered and imported into sessions on today's version of Pro Tools. On transfer, a handful of backing vocal files were found to be missing and could not be recovered. Also missing were some percussion parts. To remedy these issues, drummer Phil Hogg recreated the missing percussion parts from scratch and vocalist Jo Michaels travelled to Aubitt Studios in 2024 to re-record the lost vocals. At the same session, Jo also recorded vocals for Headlands. This song was originally conceived as a male / female duet but was not fully completed in 2002. The only other tweaks to the Bard original recordings are the replacement of Mellotron and organ sounds with vastly improved modern samples and the addition of some Moog Taurus pedals (just because...). Otherwise, everything you hear is a new mix of those original recordings." On disc + on back of digipak: © English Electric Recordings. Manufactured and distributed by English Electric Recordings.
