From Daggerboard and Erik Jekabson come THE AXES. A series of four concerts each given on the day of their event. On June 21 2024 at The Hillside Club in Berkeley the first concert was performed and this recording is that performance and the sole rehearsal for it. The pieces were written for the celebratory nature of the summer solstice. Eight original works that develop in wondrous ways. -
