In the late 1980s, three rising musicians - Rick and Remon Melsert, along with Paul Nieuwenhuijsen - brought a demo called "She" to synth maestro Michiel van der Kuy. Their joint venture, Kick The Habit, was set to fuse their fresh sound with Michiel's signature flair, laced with early house influences. But, for reasons that remain a mystery, the project was shelved and stayed hidden for more than three decades. Now, 35 years later, thanks to Michiel van der Kuy, Sergi Elias, and the Vintage Pleasure Boutique label, this forgotten treasure is finally getting its moment. The maxi single not only revives the original track but also features remixes from the brilliant Prospero duo, layering in the unmistakable nostalgia of Michiel?s classic ?80s vibe.
