Experimentierfreudiger als zuvor, landeten sie auf einer psychedelischen Reise und benutzten zum ersten Mal den mittlerweile legendären ARP-Synthesizer. Das Highlight des Albums ist "She Flies On Strange Wings", ein Kunstrock-Epos, das Verse in einem stampfenden Heavy-Metal-Stil mit spacigen Chorus-Effekten und einem langsamen, verträumten Mittelteil kombiniert, der stark an Pink Floyd erinnert. Golden Earringâ??s aktuelle Besetzung besteht aus den beiden Gründungsmitgliedern George Kooymans (Gesang und Gitarre) und Rinus Gerritsen (Bass, Keyboard), sowie Barry Hay (Gesang, Gitarre, Flöte und Saxophon) - Mitglied seit 1968 und Cesar Zuiderwijk (Schlagzeug) dabei seit 1970. Sie schrieben über 40 Hits und 30 Alben, von denen viele in ihrer Heimat, den Niederlanden, Gold- oder Platinstatus erreichten. â??Seven Tearsâ?? ist als limitierte Auflage von 1.000 einzeln nummerierten Exemplaren auf LIME GREEN Vinyl mit 4-seitigem Booklet erhältlich. -
