"Sacred Heart" is the third studio album by the legendary heavy metal band Dio, released in 1985. This CD showcases Ronnie James Dio's powerful vocals and masterful songwriting, featuring iconic tracks such as "Rock 'n' Roll Children," "Hungry for Heaven," and the epic title track "Sacred Heart." The album blends melodic hooks with hard-hitting riffs, cementing its place as a classic in the genre. Dio, formed by former Black Sabbath frontman Ronnie James Dio after his departure from Rainbow and Black Sabbath, quickly rose to fame with their debut album "Holy Diver" and continued their success with hits like "The Last in Line." Known for fantasy-inspired lyrics and electrifying performances, Dio remains one of heavy metal?s most influential acts. The manufacturer Vertigo is renowned for producing high-quality releases across rock and metal genres since its founding in 1969, supporting groundbreaking artists throughout decades.
The third studio album by American heavy metal band Dio. It was released on August 13, 1985. The RIAA certified Sacred Heart Gold (500,000 units sold) on October 15, 1985. I recommend.

Dio, I think there is no need to introduce. His vocals are recognizable and inimitable. And this is his third studio album, released in 1985. The album is rather dark, but still not bad.

The band's third album, directed by Ronnie James Dio, is as enthusiastic as the first two. How one can write three masterpieces in a row is probably known only to Ronnie himself. True, Sacred Heart still stands a little lower in class than Holy Diver and The Last In Line, the sound here is rather softened, there is a slight taste of commerce. But the material itself does not suffer from this at all, the disc is full of great songs. The "autobiographical" thriller King Of Rock And Roll opens the album at a hurricane pace, the epic title composition in the spirit of the Middle Ages creates a "signature" fairy-tale mystical atmosphere. The golden fund of Dio's songs undoubtedly includes simply the magnificent saga of love and loneliness Rock 'N' Roll Children and the wonderful melodic track Hungry For Heaven. The rest of the works successfully keep the quality mark and only a couple of final pieces can be accused of being somewhat boring. Most likely, the reason for the slight "roughness" of the album was the atmosphere with the band, which was whipped up by Vivian Campbell, who scandalously left Dio in the middle of the ensuing world tour. But Ronnie managed to adequately overcome all squabbles in the team and did the main thing - he released a very high-quality, well-developed product, several minor flaws of which are more than compensated for by a whole heap of positive emotions. Sacred Heart is a wonderful acquisition for the collection of any hard rock lover, here you can hear the real, literally imbued with the spirit of the glorious 80s heavy metal. The third in a row masterpiece from the real "king of rock and roll".

It is Dio's 3rd studio album. Rock'n roll children, Sacred heart, hungry for heaven is my favorite . From 4th album , Dio is going down to hell..

Excellent album released by DIO in the mid of the 80's, pure heavy hard rock, including some classic songs as Rock and Roll Children, Sacred Heart, King of Rock and Roll.

Disco editado en 1985. Pieza fundamental para los amantes de Hard Rock de todos los tiempos. Edición austera pero de buena calidad de audio.

Natürlich nicht ganz so stark wie Holy Diver und The Last In Line, gehört aber trotzdem in jede Sammlung. RIP Ronnie!
