The sixteenth studio album by English musician, songwriter and producer Mike Oldfield, released on 21 November 1994. It is a concept album based on the 1986 science fiction novel The Songs of Distant Earth by Arthur C. Clarke. The album reached No. 24 on the UK Albums Chart.

A WEA reissue of very interesting and ambient release (1994) from the English multi-instrumentalist, musician and composer. Maybe, there are no his typical hits here but you can listen to rather different tunes and completely different vocalists. I recommend!

A very nice and mellow album. Really takes you far away to some distant Earth. For best experience, listen with headphones on. Fast delivery, great CD, excellent service. Thank you very much.
