Richard Lloyd is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter, best known as a founding member of the rock band Television. After Television first disbanded in 1978, Lloyd released one album called Alchemy. He has now released six solo albums. Alchemy (1979), Field of Fire (1986), The Cover Doesnt Matter (2001), The Radiant Monkey (2007), The Jamie Neverts Story (2009) and Rosedale (2016). Two titles are now being reissued on Lloyds own Sufimonkey Records, the rereleased version of Field of Fire (Deluxe) which originally came out in 2007 with an additional disc of music and the Jimi Hendrix covers album The Jamie Neverts Story. -

Field of Fire: Deluxe is a re-mastered, deluxe double-CD re-packaging of Television guitarist Richard Lloyd's 1987 release Fields of Fire - available for the first time ever on compact disc. The first CD is the original album, recorded in Sweden in 1985. The second is an alternate, "revisited" version of the album, which includes 2 previously unreleased songs. Perhaps this is the way the LP would have been presented had Richard's vision not been undercut by the technology of the era and the limitations of vinyl pressing. Includes a 16-page full-color booklet with lyrics and extensive liner notes by Richard Lloyd, Reaction co-founder Ric Menck, and acclaimed music scribe Bill Flanagan. Double CD.

Disc Two is revisited version. Tracks 2-5 & 2-7 are previously unreleased.
