Description:
2008 solo album from Deerhunter front man/provocateur Bradford Cox. Here on Let the Blind..., Cox moved out of dank nightclubs filled with eternal existential drone Punk, and relaxed at home in his Grant Park, Atlanta bedroom. This is, essentially, a bedroom album, mixing the Garage Rock and Ambient Electronic influences previously explored with Deerhunter in a new context, with newly explored recording techniques, mainly lap-top based. The result is 14 songs of melancholy and mania. This is a true solo album, entirely created and produced by a single person. Kranky.
"Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel" is the debut solo album by Atlas Sound, released in CD format through Kranky / Cargo. This critically acclaimed record showcases Bradford Cox's (of Deerhunter fame) unique approach to experimental pop and ambient music, blending lush soundscapes with introspective lyrics and innovative production techniques. The album features a mesmerizing mix of dreamy melodies, atmospheric textures, and haunting vocals that transport listeners into an intimate sonic world. As Atlas Sound, Cox has been praised for his ability to craft emotionally resonant songs that push the boundaries of indie music.
