This recording by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Marin Alsop is the first of three discs of Dvorak symphonies taken from live performances at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
Released as jewel case with clear tray inside O-card and including a 6-page roll fold front insert. Included code for free download of 'Fibich Symphony No. 2 "Finale: Allegro Energico" (8.553699)' from classicsonline.com (site now defunct). The German translation of Anderson's booklet notes is incorrectly credited as "Deutsche Fassung" (= German version), which would indicate a different text content. Recorded live at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Baltimore, USA, from the 8th to 10th June, 2007 (Symphony No. 9) and on 14th, 15th and 17th June, 2007 (Symphonic Variations).
