'best Of The Omnibus Wind Ensemble' |
 |
Description: | (SACD-HYBRID) the Omnibus Wind Ensemble came into being in 1981, and the forces developed automatically: first there was a double wind quintet, to which was added a double bass and a clarinet, and eventually there came into being the serenade group Omnibus Wind Ensemble, twelve colorful players in perfect harmony. Under the motto "From Mozart to Zappa", which also became the title of their first, widely acclaimed CD under the Opus3 label, they committed themselves wholeheartedly to their work and it can clearly be seen on all of their releases. This Best of is a celebration of all the music they have given to the world for the last twenty years. Available on the Sony's SACD-Hybrid audiophile format, the sound is both crisp and clear.Made in Germany |
