Yuriy P. - 2025年 02月 14日 This record is a benchmark of the AOR genre and one of Journey's best works. Listening to it evokes the most positive emotions and perfectly creates a positive mood, and the overall sound of the album gives off the unique 80s.
So, the classic and slightly melancholic "Girl Can't Help It" begins with characteristic keys and is an excellent opening composition, immersing you in the atmosphere of the album. "Positive Touch" is perfect for a quiet party, very touching and tender "Suzanne" is about the feelings of the lyrical hero, which he has for a distant movie star.
In the charged with bright optimism "Bee Good to Yourself" echoes of "Don't Stop Believin" ring and shimmer; "Once You Love Somebody" and "I'll Be Alright without You" are calm compositions that make you immerse yourself in memories, and the delightful ballads "Happy to Give" and "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever" are capable of touching the deepest strings in the souls of not only those who decided to get acquainted with this album for the first time, but also those who have already put the CD in the player more than once.
As for the musicians' technique, it is, as always, worthy of high praise, I would especially like to note the interesting, temperamental bass and the simply ideal sound of the keyboards.
Journey have recorded another magnificent disc. It does not contain any boring or boring songs, it is full of excellent musical ideas, atmospheric and sensual.
An exceptionally bright, kind album. Perfect for romantic evenings by candlelight, as well as for those who would like to calm down and move away from life's problems and worries for a while.
| | HYUNG RAE K. - 2024年 03月 27日 These songs are timeless and outstanding, just like everything Steve Perry sings, He never disappoints. There's a superb blend of GREAT Rock tracks together with some Beautiful Ballads; something for everyone to enjoy.
| | RODRIGO G. - 2019年 09月 16日 Excelente noveno trabajo de JOURNEY, extrañamente no estan en el àlbum ROSS VALORY y STEVE SMITH, pese a aquello lograron un trabajo excepcional.
