Description:This band out of Chico, California, recorded for Johnny Rivers' Soul City label in 1968, but the resulting album never came out, even though it boasted arrangements by Marty Paich and has been compared by those few who have heard it to Love's Forever Changes and the Bee Gees' Odessa ! Now, you can hear that long-lost album along with live tracks recorded at San Francisco's famed Matrix, PLUS a second disc of material by the successor band Christian. A 12-page booklet accompanies.
Disc One labelled "Colours: Voluptuous Doom". Disc Two labelled "Christian: Good vs. Evil". Tracks 1-1 - 1-10 arranged and recorded in 1968 by Colours for an unreleased album. Tracks 1-11 - 1-15 live at the Matrix, summer 1967. Tracks 2-1 - 2-10 by the group's later incarnation "Christian", recorded in late '69 & early '70 at Sierra Sound in Berkeley and Realistic Sound in Chico.
