Description:Give Blood is an album by Brakes, released in 2005. Give Blood includes a.o. the following tracks: â??Ring A Ding Dingâ?, â??The Most Funâ?, â??Pick Up The Phoneâ?, â??You're So Prettyâ? and more. The album is a pop CD. -
Debut album from British-Indie supergroup made up of members from British Sea Power, the Electric Soft Parade and the Tenderfoot. They're the Indie version of Velvet Revolver and, judging by the sound of 'Pick Up the Phone', on just as many drugs. With an opening track that lasts 25 seconds and a closing track that lasts eight, the whole art-rock affair sounds like the combined panic attacks of a generation who've spent the summer munching mushrooms. It automatically gains a round of applause and a nice review, providing they never come within five miles of our children. Powerful, psycho Talking Heads-style guitar rock. Rough Trade. 2005.
Recorded at Metropolis between 22nd - 30th January 2005 on to tape and mixed on to ¼" tape. Mastered at Metropolis. Made in the EU. (p) 2005 The copyright in these sound recordings is owned by Rough Trade Records Ltd.
