This version of Serve It To The Right comes as a 1xCD. - 25 TRACKS2002 compilation for the prolific & idiosyncratic bluesman featuring 25 remastered tracks culled from his Blue Bonnet, Modern & Combo Records Recordings. The set ranges from the small band jump of 'River Hip Mama' via the stripped-down solo performances of 'Two Mama Blues' & the title track to the lively, hillbilly influenced 'Whoa Mule' & 'Possum Hunt'. Sidemen include hit maker Hadda Brooks on piano, legendary L.A. arranger Maxwell Davis on tenor sax & Al 'Cake' Wichard on drums.
