This material has never been re-released anywhere; it's a semi-known collectors' label established by the ubiquitous New York music impressario Gerard W Purcell, who used the best black music talent to produce fabulous soul sounds. Acts such as the Hesitations, Debbie Taylor and the Persians are well known, certainly in the US and also to a cognoscente of soul fans and collectors.

Stereo except tracks 3, 7, 11 and 19 mono. All tracks previously unissued GWP recordings (2005) except tracks 1, 2, 5, 6, 13, 14, 16, 19 and 21. Made in the UK.
