On The Right Tracks by The Skatalites, released 24 February 2020, includes the following tracks: "Shock Trail", "Doreen Special", "Bye Bye", "June Rose" and more. This version of On The Right Tracks comes as a 1xCD. -

Recorded in Byron Bay, Australia in 2006, on the Right Track mixes the coastal island vibes of Australia's and Jamaica's hippest towns with a heavy jazz influence. First original material from The Skatalites since 2000, 11 new tunes. Among a myriad of reissues and compilations, this album stands out as having the best new original material ever on an international Skatalites release since 1964. Studio sessions were held in the style of a classic jazz session- much like the "one-take" upbringing Studio 1 provided The Skatalites in the early days. The vibe of the region had a definite influence on the creative flow of the recording session; see "Outback Ska" and "Skangaroo Blues".
