"Woyaya" is a classic album by the legendary Afro-rock band Osibisa, available here in CD format and released by Aim. Originally launched in 1971, "Woyaya" features an energetic blend of African rhythms, jazz influences, rock elements, and funk grooves that became Osibisa's signature sound. The album includes standout tracks like "Beautiful Seven," "Y Sharp," and the iconic title track "Woyaya," which has inspired generations with its uplifting message of hope and unity. Osibisa was formed in London in 1969 by Ghanaian musicians Teddy Osei, Sol Amarfio, Mac Tontoh along with other talented artists from Africa and the Caribbean. They are widely recognized as pioneers who brought African music to international audiences during the 1970s. Their fusion style broke new ground on world stages and influenced countless acts worldwide. The label Aim is known for reissuing important works across genres with high-quality remastering?making essential albums accessible to collectors and new listeners alike.
