1999 Album |
 | Description: | The legendary "Endorama" Album by KREATOR - finally in it's Ultimate and remastered Edition with lots of bonus material!
Kreator surely need no introduction to anyone at this point. The Germans were among the distinctive bands who helped to shape and fashion the emerging thrash style in the 1980s. And through such landmark albums as 'Pleasure To Kill' (1986), 'Terrible Certainty' ('87) and 'Coma Of Souls ('90), they had stamped their own hallmark of quality, passion and aggression, in the process proving here was a special group of musicians.
But not content to merely rest on their laurels and repeat what had already worked, they were now ready to take things to a new level with a record that pushed more into new territory â?? with the most gothic album Kreator have ever done, as Mille states himself. Released in April 1999, 'Endorama' is invaluable proof that Kreator were, and remain, metal icons with welcomingly broad and emboldened horizons. Now, over 22 years later, the bold statement that is â??Endoramaâ? gets the ultimate makeover â?? released as a completely overhauled remaster that adds a whole lot of punch to the sound and shows that this album still stands strong even against modern standards! For Fans Of: Overkill, Sodom, Testament, Tankard, Onslaught - 1999 ALBUMEndorama was recorded from Oktober 26th 98 until January 18th 99 at Powerplay And Hithead Studios, Switzerland, and Principal Studios, Germany.
Pre production recorded at KKS Studios Essen and at Mohrmann Studios Bochum - Germany.
"Willing Spirit" is inspired by Der Weisse Domenikaner by Gustav Mayrink.

Azmi H. - 23/Aug/2022 This is possibly the lightest Kreator album they ever produced. Not a bad record though, and sound quality has improved as well. But for thrash fans, you won't find 'pleasure to kill ' style here, not even close.
| | Vladislav M. - 08/Nov/2019 The most unusual disc in the work of Kreator. The group completely abandoned the usual Thrash Metal approaches, but managed to create 12 eclectic compositions at a very high musical level.
The old fans did not accept the album, but for the music lover this disc can be much more interesting than the old hard, straightforward works.
| | Scherbyna A. - 17/Sep/2018 I once again listened to it - well, it's a good record, damn it ... In some ways, it sounds like a fresh naphthalene past and a too licked present, with all due respect, first of all to the past, but .... Endorama is Kreator's favorite record and was there is. Melodious, melancholic, with interesting melodies and arrangements, half of the album is really hit, with some material availability, it's not as simple as it seems. The album from the beginning to the end is imbued with a single emotionally-disruptive state, and a mixture of classic Thrash Metal sketches with Gothic Metal, Industrial Metal and devils-knows-than-metal make the product unique, magical.
| | Eduardo F. - 15/May/2018 Some fans don't like this one, but I guess it's a fine gothic infused thrash metal record. Kreator did much better in the 90s than other thrash acts like the Big Four, and this album is the proof.
| | Andraz Z. - 20/May/2014 Great quality of paper and printing, surprisingly a nice packing overall.
