Recorded at Bad Animals, Seattle, WA. Mixed at Electric Lady. 12 contains "Good Night", performed by Ted Lewis & His Orchestra. Released in a purple jewel case with yellow tray, which is the reverse of the first US printing (which was yellow jewel case with purple tray). Later reprints came in uncolored jewel cases. Hypnotic atmosphere, bluesy slugs, detachment away from this world, hidden every second aggression, calm, fraught with rabies, acoustics and drums, sometimes similar to reggae, real string slam, psychedelia, hysteria, quiet and smooth. Everyone, by virtue of his musical performances, will find here something of his own or, on the contrary, he will disown something. Unusual, unfortunately, the last album of the genius group. This is Seattle, this is grunge, this is Alice in Chains.

This is last studio album to feature vocalist Layne Staley before his death in 2002. Isolation and depresion is a subjects on album but... the album are so powerful. So unique. I Recommend
