AC/DC are a unique band with a distinctive sound forged from a strange selection of primal blues, rock 'n' roll and even jazz influences. The brothers Malcolm and Angus Young's earliest recollections of music being driven by the bluesier jazz of Louis Armstrong who echoed from their front parlour when they were growing up. Angus Young is a guitar stylist who was later weaned on Chuck Berry, the Beatles-inspiring Larry Williams and the wild antics of Little Richard whose 12 bar songs have formed the starting point for several AC/DC classics. He heard the legends of American rock 'n' roll and whose life was changed forever.
