Surprisingly solid, solid work. Such albums need to be listened to from beginning to end, as a single piece. All the songs are perfectly “fitted” to one another, this is especially effective when the dark instrumental Thunderpick, performed on an 8-string bass, flows into the magnificent Guyana. Almost all compositions are accompanied by live chorus vocals, creating a truly epic and monumental picture against the background of the thunderous bass and opera vocals of Eric Adams. The sound is very good - it is juicy and lively, you can almost feel the movement of air between the strings. Now with such a sound very few albums are recorded - basically everything is clean, but ... heartless. The only negative is that Scott Columbus’s drums are not very clearly recorded. Although it may have been conceived. In my album, in my opinion, ALL things are strong, but here are the undoubted MASTERPIECES - Thor, Mountains, Sign Of The Hammer, Guyana. As you can see, a lot of the album of eight tracks. And yet ... this disk is still not out of date - the gold classic of metal, what else can I say ... I recommend it to everyone, even classical music fans.

Classic and epic metal from the 80's! Simply a great and powerful album! Thor (The Powerhead) and Guyana (Cult of the Damned) are the greater songs in this album.
