Stone Temple Pilots surgió desde la vibrante escena musical californiana liderada por el carismático vocalista Scott Weiland junto con los hermanos Dean y Robert DeLeo ?en guitarra eléctrica y bajo respectivamente? además del baterista Eric Kretz; tras triunfar con su primer trabajo ?Core?, alcanzaron fama internacional definitiva gracias precisamente al éxito rotundo cosechado con este álbum donde fusionan potentes riffs eléctricos con ganchos melódicos inolvidables convirtiéndose así en auténticos iconos musicales estadounidenses durante los años noventa.
