Muy buen álbum de este par de excelentes músicos. Incluye varios temas clásicos com "I'll find my way home", "State of independence" y el que le dá el título al álbum "The friends of mr. Cairo". Dentro del álbum, todos los temas tienen un aire similar, con la excepción de uno, "Back to School", que es más bien rock and roll.
