Warlock with â??True As Steelâ? is a fairly ballsy rendition of a new currents with more than just a few sharp riffs pricking the pop-metalish layer. â??Mr. Goldâ? opens the album with sprightly, energetic guitars and â??Fight for Rockâ? is a catchy memorable hit that presents the more mainstream side of the album. â??Love in the Danger Zoneâ? is a nice semi-ballad, with Pesch producing a spellbinding performance. â??Speed of Soundâ? is a speedier, more dynamic proposition and â??Midnite in Chinaâ? is a rowdy heavy metal anthem with Pesch pitching it higher. â??VorwÃ¤rts All Rightâ? brings back the fast pace, and the headbangers will have their fun for about 4-min as this number can even quality for Scannerâ??s â??Hypertraceâ?, the most aggressive proposition here. The heavy ballad â??Love Songâ? with Pesch in top form again; the feelgood infectious hymn â??Igloo on the Moonâ?, and the biggest surprise here, the short instrumental closer â??T.O.L.â?, a great display of musical virtuosity with guitars and keyboards, a really stylish way to finish this fairly entertaining effort. -
