"Dawn" is a classic progressive rock album by the German band Eloy, released in 1976 and now available on CD from EMI. This concept album takes listeners on a journey through themes of life, death, and spiritual rebirth with its atmospheric soundscapes and intricate compositions. The music blends melodic guitar work, lush keyboards, and dynamic rhythms to create an immersive listening experience that has become a hallmark of Eloy's style. As one of the most influential bands in European progressive rock, Eloy achieved international recognition with albums like "Ocean" and "Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes." Their unique blend of space rock elements set them apart in the genre. EMI, as one of the world's leading record labels with decades-long history, has been instrumental in promoting groundbreaking artists across genres?ensuring high-quality releases for collectors and fans alike.
The fifth studio album by German rock band Eloy, released in 1976. It is a concept album conceived by Frank Bornemann and written by Jürgen Rosenthal, an abstract sequel to last year's Power and the Passion. I recommend.

Although the album seems a little monotonous, it is still the same classic Eloy. The sound seems more electronic than in the previous album. An excellent example of the German symphonic prog!

A good example of Germanic prog rock. German bands of this style were always taken to extremes. From outright imitation of their mostly British counterparts, to a cacophony of labels like Brain. Eloy is a group in general, unique for its integrity and consistency of the creative path. Perhaps, apart from the Scorpions, there are no such creative long-livers on the German stage (we do not take Schultz into account). Nice, very interesting album. Even now listens very freshly.

This is the absolutely classic album. Remastered reissue, released by the Harvest in 2012 contains nine tracks including Between The Times and The Sun-Song.

I liked the sound of this edition it has a very open scene of instruments, nice design, transparent box, nice info about the band and the album.

Even though this is not as good as the classic album Ocean, which was released a year after this, this is still a great record. Everything you love about classic Eloy is here. Highly recommended for those who love Pink Floyd and Space Rock in general.

This album is a mark in Eloys career. It features orchestration rather than keyboards for extra sounds and ambiance. One of their best albums. A great CD of Progressive Rock.
Run and buy it now !!!!!!
