Eugene S. - 05/09/2024 The thirteenth studio album by the English rock band Deep Purple, and was released on 22 October 1990. This is the only Deep Purple album to feature former Rainbow lead vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, who had joined the previous year after the firing of Ian Gillan. I recommend.
| | Sergey S. - 26/12/2021 Deep purple, having curtailed Ian Gillan and replaced him with Joe Lynn Turner's vocals, lost its main advantage - recognition, and without him, the group was just lost in the general mass.
«Slaves and masters» is not associated with the album of Deep Purple, it is rather an album of Rainbow or some other band.
Despite Blackmore's, Lord’s, Glover’s and Paice's magnificent performance, “Slaves and masters” became the band's most unsuccessful album at the time of its release in 1990.
Jon Lord himself admitted that "Slaves and masters" became an album of Deep purple, which should not have been signed with its own name. Or else will it be further...
| | Alexander Ivanovich S. - 13/05/2020 The good hard rock album with great singer - Joe Lynn Turner. The music is like a Rainbow with J.L. Turner. Only disappointment - this is not a remastered release.
| | Alexander S. - 12/06/2019 Joe Lynn Turner - on vocals. Very pleased with the first two things, with bright memorable choruses. The next thing - Fire In The Basement - is very typical for DP, but I was not very impressed. Truth Hurts is a spectacular guitar intro, a midtempo beautiful thing. The ballad Love Conquers All could have taken place, but she lacks a beautiful chorus, the DP did not reach here. There is an interesting riff and guitar solo in Fortuneteller - already something. Too Much Is Not Enough - a passing thing. At the end of the DP, they pleased Wicked Ways - a good completion of the album!
