Description:

Originally formed in 1997 by former Kyuss members Nick Oliveri, Josh Homme and Brant Bjork, Mondo Generator's initial recordings were shelved when Oliveri and Homme went on to form Queens of the Stone Age. With 'Cocaine Rodeo' out of print and a full live disc of tracks sitting around having never been officially released, it was perfect timing to revive the debut album and include with it the live disc as a bonus. Live disc band features Brant Bjork (Kyuss/Fu Manchu), Dave Catching (Eagles of Death Metal) as well as Nick Oliveri penned Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age tracks. Josh Homme (QOTSA) appears on 3 Tracks. Simple Exploding Man features an un-official Kyuss reunion with original members John Garcia, Josh Homme, Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri all contributing to the track. Guest vocals from Mark Lanegan (QOTSA/SCREAMING TREES).

1-11 & 1-12 are bonustracks. Disc 2 is mentioned as bonus live disk. 2-1 to 2-11 are recorded live at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on December 12th 2003 2-12 recorded live at Reading Festival in 2004. Tracks 1-2, 1-4, 1-5, 1-6, 1-10 remixed by Schneebie in the Gas Chamber C&P The Mondo Generator 2009. Released by Impedance Records under exclusive license from The Mondo Generator.
